India's Leading
Toy Manufacturer

- Promoted by MRF Group

Funskool’s purpose is to inspire, engage and entertain every child, and the child in every adult.
We are India’s leading toy manufacturing company. Conceived in 1986 as a joint venture* between our parent, the MRF Group, and Hasbro Inc., we began commercial operations in 1988. Over three decades later now, you can find our toys in 4,500 retail stores across India. Our products form a significant part of the toy-portfolio of all major e-commerce and modern trade brands in India.
With the largest range of toys offered by any Indian company, Funskool has an assortment to meet the needs of every ... parent and child.
We have three state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. The first one at Corlim, Goa is spread over a sprawling area of 1,50,000 sq. ft. The second and third factories are at Ranipet, near Chennai and have a built up area of 90,000 sq ft and 55,000 sq ft respectively. We are grateful to our channel partners, which include our CFAs, stockists and retailers, for helping us reach the children across India, as well as many countries overseas.
Funskool pioneered the concepts of quality and safety in toys and has been instrumental in raising the standards of toys in India.
We imbibed the core values of trust, quality and customer delight from our parent company, the MRF Group. We uphold these values through our product design, development and operations, thus setting high standards for ourselves and for the Indian toy industry. It is this strong bond that we have developed with children that has elevated us to leadership status in the industry. We introduced a new meaning for fun for millions of children with indigenously designed toys that have been manufactured to exacting standards of quality and safety.
How does Funskool consistently design toys that become the favourites of children? Simple – by understanding the changing needs of children. We have obtained licenses from many international players to manufacture, distribute and sell branded toys of international quality in India, like Tomy for Infants & Pre-School products, Dora and Ravensburger for Puzzles, Walt Disney for Board Games, Engino for Construction and much more.
Making toys is not child’s play, it is serious business. And no one understands it better than Funskool. With a basket full of ideas, a spirit to excel and with an objective to touch the life of every child who reaches out to us, Funskool looks forward to the future, one where tomorrow's children are waiting for their world of fun.
The Indian toy industry will continue to see revolutionary changes, and Funskool will continue to be at the forefront of this dynamic environment, offering the best playing and learning options.
Our dedicated team of over 1,000 employees work hard so that the children of our country can play hard.
*The joint venture with Hasbro Inc. was terminated in 2014.

Our Vision

With our toys, delight every child and aid in their holistic growth.

Our Mission

To inspire, engage and entertain every child to realize their true potential and to enhance their sensory, motor and cognitive abilities;
To forge in them values their parents espouse;
To be the subtle, sublime force that advances their imaginary world;
To offer a pleasant, fulfilling diversion for an adult, keeping the child in them vibrant.

Our Values

Trust

A father who was walking with his little daughter came across a narrow bridge. The father was rather concerned ... and told his daughter, “My child, will you please hold my hand so that you don't fall off the bridge?” The daughter replied, “No, Daddy, you should hold my hand.” “How is it different?” asked the father, perplexed. “There's a huge difference,” replied the little girl. “If I hold your hand and I slip away, there is a chance that I may let your hand go. If you were to hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let go of my hand.” In our relationship with children and parents, this is the essence of the trust that we uphold. We are true to kids, always.

Quality & Excellence

Much like what Peter Drucker said, we believe that quality is not what we put into our products, it is what our ... customers get out of our products. Quality is not just using the safest raw materials, or using technologically superior processes and machines, or subjecting the final product to a battery of tests that are designed to pick out hidden flaws, if any. Quality for us is making sure that the aspirations of the child and the parent are engineered into the attributes of the product. Our final stamp of approval of quality is not given from our laboratory; it is written in the smile on the face of the child and her parent.

Customer Delight

In everything that Funskool does, our purpose is to delight your child. And delight is not just brought about by ... an instance of momentary joy alone. We strive to delight your child by improving their hand eye co-ordination, motor and cognitive skills and by nurturing their creativity and imagination. We count our sales not by the toys we sell, but by the smiles we cause on the face of your child. When we call a child or a parent our “customer”, we are actually settling for less. What we crave is to create “fans”.
